The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center has expressed its gratitude to American Legion Post and Unit 112 for donating $1,021 worth of food items to the medical center’s Veteran Drive-Thru Food Pantry.
According to VA officials, this contribution will play a vital role in ensuring that local Veterans and their families have continued access to essential food assistance. “Your kindness and commitment ensure that local Veterans and their families continue to receive essential food assistance,” the medical center said in an official statement.
