Country singer Jake Turner canceled his scheduled performance at the Maple Ridge Festival in Vermont after suffering a serious injury in a motor vehicle accident.

Festival organizers announced on Instagram that Turner was involved in an incident on his farm, which led to a concussion. The post explained that Turner was taken to a local hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a severe concussion. As a result, he could not perform at the Maple Ridge Festival on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The statement from the festival read, “Due to a motor vehicle incident on his farm, Jake Turner was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a severe concussion. Jake Turner will no longer be able to perform at the Maple Ridge Festival on June 13, 2026. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and will share further event details as they become available. We wish Jake a quick recovery.”

Organizers did not share more information about the accident or Turner’s condition. Turner, known for his hit “Boots on the Ground,” reposted the festival’s announcement on his Instagram Stories but did not comment further.

In Turner’s absence, the festival booked Sam Richards and the Country All Stars to perform. Representatives for Turner have not responded to requests for comment as of Sunday, June 14.
