Travelers departing from Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport can look forward to expanded flight options this summer, as announced by the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority. The airport now offers nine nonstop destinations, enhancing travel flexibility for passengers.
This summer, the number of flights from JAN is set to increase by over five percent compared to 2024, with available seats rising by nearly three percent. Notably, Southwest Airlines has introduced daily nonstop flights to Nashville, further broadening travel choices.
Delta Air Lines plans to operate eight peak daily flights to Atlanta, totaling nearly 100,000 seats this summer. Meanwhile, American Airlines will provide close to 90,000 seats, featuring up to six daily flights to Dallas-Fort Worth, four to Charlotte, and one to Washington Reagan National Airport.
United Airlines is also expanding its offerings, with nearly 30,000 seats available and five daily flights to its Houston-Bush Intercontinental Airport hub.
Rosa M. At Mississippi’s busiest airport, we are truly grateful to everyone who chooses to fly JAN— you are the reason we continue to grow and thrive.”
