Brookville High School Coach Moves Up to Lead College Program

The community of Brookville is bidding farewell to one of its most beloved football coaches as Coach John Smith prepares to leave his position at the high school to take on a coaching role at a college program.

Coach Smith has been an integral part of the Brookville High School football program for over a decade, and his dedication and hard work have helped to establish the team as a top contender in the state.

During his tenure, the Brookville Bears have won several championships, and many of his players have gone on to play at the college level.

Coach Smith’s departure has come as a surprise to many in the community, but he has said that he is excited about the new opportunities that await him at the college program.

“I have had an amazing time coaching at Brookville High School, and I will always cherish the memories and experiences that I have had here,” said Coach Smith. “But I am also excited about this new chapter in my career and the chance to take on new challenges and work with some talented players.”

The Brookville community has expressed its gratitude and appreciation for Coach Smith’s contributions to the football program over the years. Many former players have taken to social media to thank him for his guidance and support and to wish him all the best in his new role.

“We are going to miss Coach Smith, but we know that he is going to do great things at the college level,” said Brookville High School Principal, Sarah Wilson. “He has been an incredible coach and mentor to so many of our students, and we wish him all the best in his new role.”

Coach Smith’s replacement at Brookville High School has not yet been announced, but the school is expected to begin the search for a new coach soon.
